Overview

The RSB-0085 is the scanner of the RHRS-2005 installation: transmitter, receiver and drive motor in the weatherproof housing on the wheelhouse roof, with the slotted array on top. It is the unit that takes a bridge strike, and it is also the usual cause when the radar picture starts breaking up or losing range. Swapping the scanner for a refurbished one restores the installation without touching the display or the cabling, and it is done in a morning.
