Description
The Swiss Radar Precision Navigator II is a river radar for inland navigation, fully checked over and refurbished.
Overview
Swiss Radar equipment, built by JFS Electronic, has been a fixture in inland shipping for decades and is known for the precision of its picture and for lasting a long time in service. The Precision Navigator II is the wheelhouse radar of that range: a display and control unit driving a slotted waveguide antenna, laid out so the essential controls sit under the helmsman's hand while steering. Sets like this remain in daily use on the Rhine and its tributaries, which keeps parts and knowledge available.
