The SAILOR 6222 is a Class A VHF DSC radio for GMDSS compliance on commercial and offshore vessels, tested and in near-new condition.

Overview

The 6222 was the first DSC Class A radio rated waterproof to IPx6 and IPx8, which makes it suitable for open workboats and exposed deck positions as well as an enclosed wheelhouse. It meets DSC specification 493-13 for VHF DSC Class A, part of the mandatory GMDSS fit for SOLAS vessels. The 3.2″ display stays readable in any light, with switchable white-on-black or black-on-white text and a red backlight for night use. SAILOR Replay records the last 240 seconds of incoming speech so a missed message can be played back, and ThraneLINK networking simplifies installation diagnostics and fleet-wide communication. The radio can be installed on its own or as part of a complete GMDSS console.
