An Intellian i6 satellite TV dome including its control unit, lightly used and tested, set up for Astra 3.
Overview
A stabilised TV dome keeps the antenna pointed at the satellite while the vessel moves, so the picture on board stays put whether the ship is under way, swinging at anchor or lying in a lock. The i6 is the size that suits inland and coastal vessels: large enough for a solid signal in northern Europe, small enough to find a place on the wheelhouse roof between the radar and the antennas. Lightly used units are regularly available at around half the price of new.
