About Zenitel

At the heart of the range are the stations with which posts talk to one another. From simple batteryless telephones, which draw their speech energy from the handset itself and so keep working if the vessel loses power, to complete public address installations with amplifiers, loudspeakers and alarm signalling.

The difference lies in being understood. Microphones are noise cancelling, loudspeakers are dimensioned for places where it is loud, and the housings are watertight enough for the open deck. That a conversation can be followed in an engine room or on a towing deck is exactly what this equipment is built for.

Vingtor installations last for decades and are rarely replaced all at once. Separate stations, horns and panels are therefore sought after parts: adding or replacing one station keeps an existing installation on the air without having to disturb all the cabling.
