About Furuno
The company started in 1948 with the first workable echo sounder for the fishing fleet and has since grown into one of the biggest names on board. The aim has stayed the same all those years: to make life on the water safer and more efficient with equipment you can trust blindly.
The range runs from the much praised NavNet TZtouch displays for leisure craft to the FAR radars and ECDIS solutions sailed in the merchant fleet. In sensors Furuno is a pioneer: its sonars and fish finders still set the standard in commercial fishing.
